Introduction of right-side friends, previous and next friends.
ExcaliBrain now supports all four directions.
Previous friend relationships will be imported as "left-side friends"
The difference between left and right-side friends vs. previous and next friends is that left and right-side friends define a fixed left or righthand-side position, while previous and next act more similar to parent and child relationships which are directed. As you move from note to note what was previously "previous" becomes next…

Fix issue in (new) vaults where a note would open in "source mode" instead of "live preview" mode

Enhancement: Support the repeat field format spaced daily/weekly/monthly/yearly in addition to spaced every ... for consistency between spaced and periodic notes. That is, now you can add spaced in front of any periodic repeat field value to convert a note from periodic to spaced.

Add the ability to specify a URL from which to read JSON data. A GET operation to the URL must return the actual JSON data.
